Quarters for Conservation	Happy Hollow’s Quarters for Conservation program provides funding to support critical research and conservation projects that protect and preserve wildlife and wild places around the world.	Annually; Winter season
Progress for Pollinators	Happy Hollow Park & Zoo and Happy Hollow Foundation’s Progress for Pollinators program awards grants of up to $2,500 to help community members in Santa Clara County create pollinator-friendly habitats.	Applications accepted year-round and reviewed twice a year; March 1 for the spring grant cycle September 1 for the fall grant cycle
Food Distribution Grant (FDG)	The FDG Program seeks to continue the support of food distribution currently being provided to our communities across San José to ensure they remain healthy and food secure.	One-time Funding
BeautifySJ Grant Program	The BeautifySJ Grant Program provides funds (from $300 up to $5,000) for neighborhood clean-up efforts, beautification projects and neighborhood engagement opportunities in San José.	Annually; Fall season
Safe Summer Initiative Grant Program (SSIG)	The SSIG Program aims to provide and enhance recreational or educational opportunities for youth not normally available to the San José Youth Empowerment Alliance (formerly known as Mayor’s Gang Prevention Task Force) target population during the summer months. This provides youth a safe environment while keeping them active and engaged in positive activities.	Annually; Winter season
Older Adults (50+) Health and Wellness Grant Program (OAHWG)	The OAHWG program seeks to provide easily accessible, quality programs within the City of San José aimed at reducing social isolation and improving the health and wellness of San José residents ages 50 and up. Bringing Everyone's Strengths Together (B.E.S.T.)	The City of San José Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services BEST Grant Program is now accepting applications for its next triennial funding cycle, which runs from September 1, 2023 through August 31, 2026. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is designed to create partnerships with organizations to provide youth violence prevention, intervention, and diversion services.	Every 3 years; Winter season

Leisure Vendor Qualified Service Provider Solicitation Number in Biddingo: PRNS-REC05 RFP	PRNS is seeking qualified vendors who will work in partnership with City staff to provide fresh, innovative and trend-setting activities focused on meeting the PRNS goals of: Improving health and wellness by providing physically active and engaging social recreational activities in our community centers and parks; Facilitating healthy life choices, personal growth and lifelong learning; and Building strong neighborhoods by connecting people to people, to community centers, to parks, and to resources.
Golf Course Management, Operations, and Maintenance Services Solicitation Number in Biddingo: PRNS-Parks-06 RFP	This request for Proposal is to secure a revenue sharing lease with a qualified golf operator to operate, maintain, and market the City's municipal golf system. The system is comprised of three golf courses including Los Lagos Golf Course, Rancho Del Pueblo Golf Course, and the Municipal Golf Course.	This Request for Proposal process will result in a long-term 15 year lease agreement with selected provider(s).
