    BMX Camp at Calabazas Park is designed for BMX/Mountain Bike riders of all levels and abilities. Participants are able to focus on improving abilities in the areas of speed, consistency, and tricks. Instructors will teach and demonstrate tricks at the rider's own pace than can help participants progress to the next level even after the lessons are completed.     Yoga takes place across from the street from the VTA Lightrail station on 2nd Street. Take in the fresh air as we recharge our bodies and release stress through the practice of yoga. Every Thursday from July 9 - 30th the Almaden Community Center will be hosting this FREE event at Greystone Park from 6:30pm-8pm! Each night will feature a different band, all of which are family friendly. This is a great outdoor event perfect for all ages, some come join your friends, family, and neighbors in celebrating the glory days of summer!

  14. Beginning Fishing(Catch and Release)

    July 11, 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM @ Almaden Lake Regional Park

    Taking place at: East Beach (near greystone picnic area - Coleman Rd.) Do you want to learn to Fish? Lake Almaden is a good spot for the beginner to catch largemouth bass catfish, carp, and bluegill. You will need to provide your own pole and bait will be provided. The instructor will provide information on which bait to use and the proper fishing techniques and then you will be ready to move on to bigger fish! Please take into account this is a catch and release lake and all participants must follow ALL California Fishing Regulations and have the proper fishing license.   23. Gardner Community Center Flea Market

    July 18, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ Gardner Community Center

    April 18th the Gardner Community Center will be hosting a Flea Market event for the members of the community. The Event is free to the public and vendors will be asked to pay $12 dollars per space. All proceeds go back to the senior nutrition program at the Gardner Center. Food Music and activities will be provided.
