SAMPLE CENSUS QUESTIONNAIRES

sample questionnaires10 Questions in 10 minutes for 2010!

The 2010 Census form consists of 10 basic questions that will take the average family 10 minutes complete.  Questions include your name, phone number, race, ethnicity, home ownership, number of occupants, etc. The information you provide will determine how over $435 billion in federal funds are distributed each year to cities like San Jose for community programs and services, such as education, housing, public health, senior services, transportation, neighborhood improvements and more.

By law, the Census Bureau cannot share an individual’s answers with anyone, including welfare and immigration agencies. Every Census worker has taken an oath for life to protect confidentiality of census responses. Violation would result in a jail term of up to 5 years and/or fine up to $250,000.
