432 Volunteers Register at Kelley Park for Weekend Clean-Up

Last weekend, hundreds of yellow-vested volunteers showed up at Kelley Park to assist in clean-up efforts from the winter floods. There were individuals, community organizations, and families – all with smiles and all with the common goal of wanting to do more for their community.  From the park’s lower meadow to the lower area of the iconic Happy Hollow Park and Zoo, the community volunteers cleaned-up, picked-up, scrubbed down, and sterilized areas that were hit hard.  Even though they were knee deep in mud, the passionate group of volunteers invested their time and energy into rebuilding their community and park. For more information, contact Justin Long, PRNS Deputy Director, at 408-793-5579.
