Spring has arrived at Camden Community Center

Over 200 children searched the fields for toy-filled eggs at the Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services (PRNS) Camden Community Center last Saturday. During the event, children and families celebrated spring’s arrival with egg hunts, arts and crafts, and special goodies for each participant. Indoor activities also included building Lego’s and robots, face painting, and making bunny ears for everyone to wear. PRNS would like to thank Cambrian Park Kiwanis, Lakeshore Learning (San Jose), Mad Science, and Playwell for hosting the arts and crafts activities, as well as, District 9 Councilmember Donald Rocha’s office for giving fun, goodie bags for each person who attended this successful event. For more information, please contact Neil Rufino, PRNS Acting Deputy Director, at 408-535-3508.
