Vietnamese Cultural Heritage Gardens Opens with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The Vietnamese Cultural Heritage Gardens Phase 1a was opened to the public on Friday, April 7, 2017 with a ribbon cutting event attended by the community and local dignitaries. The project was managed by the City’s Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services (PRNS) and Public Works departments, and is a public/private partnership with support from the Viet Heritage Society, the State of California and Santa Clara County. The Vietnamese Cultural Heritage Gardens are located in Kelley Park, off of Roberts Road, and features an ornate entry gate, community garden plots and a central public space suitable for open markets and other events. Other phases of the project will be implemented as funding becomes available. For more information, please contact Marybeth Harasz, PRNS Deputy Director, at 408-793-5514.
