District Three Hosts 3rd Annual Summer Resource Fair

With over 230 residents in attendance, District Three Councilmember Raul Peralez’s Office, the Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services’ (PRNS) Roosevelt Community Center and the Department of Housing hosted the 3rd Annual District Three Summer Resource Fair on Saturday, May 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. With 18 service providers in attendance, community members received a wide range of information on local services and resources, including Queen Hype, Sunday Friends, CommUniversity, La Raza Historical Society of Santa Clara Valley, Carnegie Library, Project Sentinel, NHORA, PRNS Roosevelt Community Center Programs, and several more. PRNS extends a special thank you to the San José Downtown Streets Team and all other volunteers for the set-up, clean-up, and preparation of the food for the event.
