Summer at Almaden Community Center

Summer has come to a close, and it was a busy one for the Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services Almaden Community Center. This summer, Almaden Community Center offered a wide variety of camps, including Fit Camp, Camp San José, Little Medical School, NASA Journey into Outer Space, and much more. Camps had a total enrollment of 2,733 youth. Camp staff enjoyed seeing the smiling faces of their campers and how these camps positively impacted their lives. During the month of July, Almaden Community Center hosted another successful Summer Concert Series at Graystone Park every Thursday night. The final concert of the year had the crowd in its history with an estimated 2500 community members in attendance. For more information, please contact Neil Rufino, PRNS Deputy Director, at 408-535-3508.
