Paul Moore Park Home to New Interagency Park Ranger Training Center

Paul Moore Park is the new home for an Interagency Park Ranger Training Program. In 2015, Park Rangers from the Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services, Santa Clara County Parks and Mid-Peninsula Regional Open Space established the Interagency Training Committee to share experiences, instructors, and equipment. By sharing resources, the member agencies can realize cost-savings and offer high quality, in-house certifications and training, such as Emergency Medical Response, CPR, first aid, and Hazardous Material Response. Current member agencies include the City of San José, Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation, Mid-peninsula Regional Open Space, City of Palo Alto, Santa Clara County Open Space Authority, City of Santa Cruz, Town of Los Gatos and the City of Fremont. For more information, please contact Justin Long, PRNS Deputy Director, at 408-793-5579.
