The City of San Jose is seeking Mobile Food Concessionaires on an ongoing basis to enhance service delivery at events held at City Hall, parks, community centers or any other public gathering places or opportunities. Interested parties who fill out the online application will be placed on a list and will be contacted as needs arise. Placement on the list does not guarantee receiving a call or an opportunity to sell. All Concessionaires are required to maintain all required permits and licenses at their own cost. Concessionaires who meet all applicable requirements listed above will be placed on an eligibility list. Submission of an application does not guarantee placement in the qualified mobile concessionaire pool. Please include copies of all applicable permits, licenses, certificates and supplemental information with your online application for review. Eligible lists will be active from the time of establishment until December 31, 2020.
City will require that vendors on the list must continue to be eligible to provide services at any time while the pool is active. City will verify eligibility with the County Office of Environmental Health prior to any event. Please be aware that the City of San Jose has the right to terminate this pool prior to its expiration date. Interested applicants should note that a concessionaire permit will not grant them exclusive rights to sell in the park in which premises are located.
