STEVEN M. HENDRICKSON, Deputy City Auditor
Mr. Steven M. Hendrickson retired from the California Bureau of State Audits (bureau) in October 2006 as the Chief Deputy State Auditor, a position he held for five years. Prior to that, Steven was an Audit Principal with the bureau. In that capacity, he managed all aspects of the performance and compliance audits performed by the bureau. Prior to his appointment in May 1993 as Audit Principal, he held management and supervisory positions with the California Auditor General’s Office and the California Public Employees’ Retirement System. Prior to this, he worked at the San Francisco Regional Office of the United States General Accounting Office.
In 1992, and again in 2000, the California Legislature recognized Steven for his contributions to the citizens of the State of California. Steven holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in political science and public administration.
