    Learn about the water-saving potential for common types of graywater systems; costs, codes, and regulations; plant-friendly soaps and products; irrigation hardware decisions and requirements; and how to qualify for the $200 Graywater Laundry to Landscape Rebate Program. Focus of workshop will be on laundry to landscape systems.

  3. SJSU Swap, Drop, or Donate 2017

    May 20, 2017, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ San Jose State University

    Got junk? Keep it out of the landfill and in the hands of those that need it!

    Festivities include:
    Swap: Trade unwanted clothing, small appliances (microwaves, mini refrigerators), and household items (office supplies, books, bedding), for items swapped by others. Please ensure items are clean and emptied.

    Drop or Donate: All usable items not taken during the "Swap" will be donated to charity.

    Other items to swap, drop, or donate: Working and non-working electronics, general recycling and waste, hazardous waste* (batteries, printer ink, light bulbs, medication, cleaning products, etc..)

    FREE FOOD and bags for first 100 people!
    *To dispose of all other hazardous waste, such as paint, used motor oil and filters, make an appointment for a free drop off at http://www.hhw.org or call: 408-299-7300.
