City Hall Holiday Closure

San José City Hall will be closed for the holidays beginning Monday, December 25, 2000, and will reopen on Wednesday, January 3, 2001. Police and Fire departments, along with other critical City services will continue unaffected by the closure.

During the Christmas holiday, all City libraries will be closed December 24th, 25th and 26th. Libraries will resume regular hours on December 27th. For the New Year’s holiday, San José libraries will be closed December 31, 2000 and January 1 and 2, 2001. Regular schedules will resume at all City libraries beginning on January 3rd.

Certain scheduled recreational and cultural facilities and events will be held as scheduled. In addition, most community centers will continue to operate during the closure with reduced hours.
