7.1 Approval of various actions related to the City's Smart Energy Plan and conservation efforts.
Recommendation:
(a) Approval of the San Jose Smart Energy Plan.
* (b) Authorization for the Administration to develop a Request For Qualifications for the development of energy generation plants on City-owned property.
(c) Approval of the City's Manager's recommendations regarding the City's Energy Conservation Plan for City facilities, as outlined in the San Jose Smart Energy Plan.
(d) Direction to the City Manager to develop a procedure for processing permits required for energy generation plants less than 50 megawatts.
