City Council Agenda

Welcome to the District 10 website

Dear District 10 Friends & Residents,

On Wednesday, May 7th I was joined by Mayor Chuck Reed, City Manager Debra Figone and residents across Almaden and Blossom Valley to tackle difficult Budget issues at my third annual District 10 Budget and Neighborhood Forum. Thank you to the 65 residents who attended the forum and the 300 residents who participated in this year’s Budget survey. It was a great evening that provided an opportunity to learn more about the Budget process and give direct, personal feedback to my Office regarding the 2008-2009 Proposed Budget. I am pleased to share the following results and findings with you.

This year we surveyed District 10 residents for 50 days regarding the 2008-2009 Budget and how the city will fill the gap with the current structural budget deficit. Running from March 13th through April 30th, twelve survey questions were sent out to over 5,000 District 10 residents. The results can be viewed by visiting this web link and the accompanying powerpoint presentation from the Forum can be viewed here.

As your representative on the City Council I want to stress that our continuing dialogue is extremely important to advance the wishes of residents across District 10. I appreciate your continued involvement and investment in our community and look forward to continuing in my service as your representative and Councilmember at City Hall.

Regards,

Pyle Signature
