Saint Patrick's Day Luncheon With Seniors - March 17, 2005
On March 17, 2005, Nancy co-sponsored with the Association of Retired San Jose Police Officers & Firefighters, the Saint Patrick's Day Luncheon for the seniors in the community. The event, at the Almaden Winery Community Center (5730 Chambertin), was attended by over 150 senior citizens.

Guests were served a special "Saint Patrick's Day" green punch and generous serving of corn beef and hash.
Nancy acknowledged the retired police and firefighters who got up at dawn to begin preparation of the meals.
The retired firefighters and police officers prepared the meals in the community center kitchen.
Helpers served corn beef and hash along with cabbage.
