Almaden Hills United Methodist Church Kid's Day 2005 - August 20, 2005

 

On August 20, 2005, Nancy attended Almaden Hills United Methodist Church's Kid's fair, held the 3rd weekend of August from 11:00am to 2:00 pm. The activities this year included two jump houses (Nemo and Sponge Bob), a cake walk, a parrot show, crafts stations, cooking stations, game stations, a table on safety which included safety coloring books and child ID kits, a visit by the local fire department, a backpack giveaway and a food and beverage station as well as a station providing information on the church and the various activities they offer. This year they distributed 211 backpacks filled with age appropriate school supplies.  All but 20 backpacks were picked up and over 350 hot dogs were cooked and between 180 -200 persons attend.
