Welcome to East San José

Together, we must create new jobs in San José, protect our local economy, and stimulate economic growth. Expand gang intervention efforts, reduce gang violence, and ensure police and fire departments are fully funded and protecting residents and businesses. Prevent drastic budget cuts from reducing core neighborhood services and impacting community centers and libraries. Support educational excellence and homework centers at local public schools to ensure all children receive a quality education.Improve youth and senior programs to keep children and senior healthy and safe.

These will be my priorities as your City Council representative, and I will work tirelessly to advocate on behalf of our community.

The City of San José is committed to open and honest government and strives to consistently meet the community’s expectations by providing excellent service, in a positive and timely manner, and in the full view of the public.

Alum Rock Village Farmer's Market

Every Sunday    8am-1pm

James Lick High School, 57 N. White Rd (at Alum Rock Ave), San Jose

Every Sunday, year round. It's fresh and it's fun - it's the Alum Rock Village Certified Farmers' Market. Stop by the market for the season's freshest fruits and vegetables - direct from the farmer - along with fresh cut flowers, bedding plants, fresh breads, and delicious specialty food items. The market is now held on the campus sidewalks – rather than in the parking lot as it used to be.  It’s very pleasant and the vendors are friendly.
