AEA Information

Association of Engineers and Architects, IFPTE Local 21(AEA) represents approximately 199 FTEs, in two different units, including the classifications of Engineer, Architect, Senior Engineer and Senior Architect.

Negotiations with AEA on a successor agreement began in February 2011. On March 23, 2011, the City reached tentative agreements with AEA. On March 28, 2011, the CIty received notice that the tentative agreements had been ratified by the membership. On April 19, 2011, the City Council approved the tentative agreement reached with AEA.
