MEF Information

Municipal Employees' Federation (MEF) represents the largest number of employees with approximately 1,798 FTEs across a wide variety of classifications including Code Enforcement Inspectors, Public Safety Dispatchers, Office Specialists, Librarians and Planners.

MEF's current contract runs through Fiscal Year 2010-2011 and expires on June 30, 2011. Negotiations with MEF on a successor agreement began in February 2011. On May 31, 2011, the City Council approved the implementation of terms contained in the City's Last, Best, and Final Offer (Alternative A).
