ABMEI Information


The Association of Building, Mechanical and Electrical Inspectors (ABMEI), represents approximately 52 FTEs in the Planning, Building and Code Enforcement Department, Public Works Department and Housing Department.

On April 29, 2011, the City reached a Tentative Agreement on a successor agreement with ABMEI. On May 11, 2011, the City received notice that the Tentative Agreement had been ratified by the membership. On May 31, 2011, the City Council approved the Tentative Agreement.
