ALP Information

The Association of Legal Professionals of San Jose (ALP) represents approximately 36 FTEs, including the classifications of Senior Deputy City Attorney, Deputy City Attorney, Legal Services Manager, Senior Legal Analyst, and Associate Deputy City Attorney.

Negotiations with the ALP on a successor agreement began on January 24, 2011. On May 27, 2011, the City reached a Mediated Tentative Agreement with ALP, which was ratified by the ALP membership. On May 31, 2011, the City Council approved the Tentative Agreement.
