H1N1 Virus Update

The County of Santa Clara Board of Supervisors declared a local emergency in response to the pandemic H1N1 virus on Sept. 29. The World Health Organization (WHO) raised the level of the H1N1 influenza pandemic alert to
Phase 6 Pdf Icon, which reflects how far the virus has spread. Based on present evidence, the overwhelming majority of patients experience mild symptoms and make a rapid and full recovery, often in the absence of any form of medical treatment.

At the same time, WHO announced that the intensity of the virus is considered moderate. Based on present evidence, the overwhelming majority of patients experience mild symptoms and make a rapid and full recovery, often in the absence of any form of medical treatment.

Swine Flu Update
May 8, 2009
