The City Council directed Planning to conduct extensive early community outreach between February and April to inform the community about the proposed update of the San José 2020 General Plan – the City’s long-range master plan for the growth and development of the City. The meetings provided an overview of what the General Plan is and how it affects how our community grows and changes. The meetings will describe the upcoming update process that will impact the City’s growth over the next 20 to 30 years.
