In adddition to the Citywide Internship Program, sponsored by Human Resources, several City Departments have their own specific recruitments. To find out more about each department's internship programs and openings, please visit the links below.

Norman Y. Mineta San José International Airport icon Norman Y. Mineta San José International Airport (SJC)
Mineta San José International Airport offers exciting internship opportunities for interested college students. Semester long internship positions are available in a variety of areas including Airport Operations, Airport Facilities, Airport Marketing and other Airport divisions, and provide a chance to apply educational knowledge in a real-world setting. http://www.sjc.org/about/intern.html
City Attorney icon City Attorney's Office
The Attorney's Office offers internship in Litigation and Transactional Services Divisions. The interns will work closely with individual Deputy City Attorneys on impoartant litigation cases or transactional matters. http://www.sanjoseca.gov/attorney/Internship.asp
       
Environmental Services Department  icon Environmental Services Department (ESD)
With over 400 employees and an annual budget of $124 million, ESD is one of the City's largest and most visible departments. Students in accredited colleges and universities may also qualify for paid Student Intern opportunities.
