On February 2nd, 2007, the City of San José hosted its 2nd Annual Citywide Job Shadow Day. In conjunction with Junior Achievement, sixty students from Mount Pleasant High School and Ida Price Middle School descended upon City Hall to be encouraged to consider a future career in local government. City staff from fifteen departments introduced students in a hands-on way to the broad spectrum of services they provide as well as the meaningful impacts they make on the residents of San José.
