Bike Plan

The City of San José is developing an update of its Bike Plan. Two broad goals of the update will be to increase the number of people bicycling and to improve safety for bicyclists.

The update will include recommendations to expand San José's Bikeway Network, better connect on-street bikeways with trails, install more public bicycle parking, and develop programs and policies that encourage and promote bicycling.

The current schedule calls for a recommended Bike Plan update to go to City Council in Spring 2009.

Please check back here for more info during Fall and Winter of 2009.
