CFD1: Capitol Auto Mall - Hillsdale - Highway 87

 


CFD1Description

The landscape features maintained by this CFD are inclusive of all median islands on Capitol Auto Mall Parkway and Hillsdale Avenue between Highway 87 and Gardendale Drive which includes the decorative towers, raised planters and palm trees.  This district also encompasses the grassy lawn frontage and grove of pear trees at the South West corner of Highway 87 and Capitol Auto Mall Parkway.  This landscape won the California Landscape Contractors’ Association First Place Award in 2007

CFD2Tree Services

Trees in this district include flowering pear (Pyrus calleryana), Washingtonia fan palms (Washingtonia robusta) and multi-stem Crape myrtle (Lagerstroemia sp.). Tree management services are provided for all trees in the median islands and lawn area and include:
• Pruning, planting and removal/replacement
• Fertilization
• Monitoring
• Pest control using Integrated Pest Management (IPM) techniques
