The Department of Transportation is planning safety improvements and redesigns on Pearl Avenue from Chynoweth Avenue to Hillsdale Avenue. The goal of this project is to slow the speed of drivers and improve street safety for all. Improvements will include the following:

• Pavement maintenance;
• New and enhanced bikeways;
• Updated crosswalk striping; and
• Removal of one travel lane in each direction

Changes are expected to take place in May 2022. This is an opportunity for the surrounding community to view the final plans for the Pearl Avenue Project. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback about the project.
