The City of San José invites you to a community meeting regarding the updated draft of the Rent Stabilization Program Three-Year Strategic Plan. This virtual meeting will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2023, from 6:00-7:00 p.m.

Housing staff received considerable feedback over the summer and at the August 10, 2023, Housing and Community Development Commission meeting on the initial draft of the Strategic Plan and has made revisions in response to that feedback. Most of the feedback we received was from Housing Providers. We are holding this meeting for tenants to provide another opportunity for public feedback before the Strategic Plan is finalized and presented to the City Council.

The Three-Year Strategic Plan does not propose any changes to any of the ordinances. The focus of the Strategic Plan is to improve: (1) data, collection and measures; (2) assessment of outcomes; (3) engagement efforts with the community; and (4) program administration.
