The City of San José’s mobilehome community is invited to a meeting regarding the updated draft of the Rent Stabilization Program Three-Year Strategic Plan. This virtual meeting is open to mobilehome park owners, managers and residents and will be held Wednesday October 4, 2023 from 5:00-6:00 p.m.

Housing staff received considerable feedback over the summer and at the August 10, 2023, Housing and Community Development Commission meeting on the initial draft of the Strategic Plan and has made revisions in response to that feedback. We are providing another opportunity for public feedback before the Strategic Plan is finalized and presented to the City Council. 

The Three-Year Strategic Plan does not propose any changes to any of the ordinances. The Plan is comprised of tasks to better measure effectiveness and outcomes, and improvements to program implementation. The tasks concerning the mobilehome community are focused on outreach, education and community engagement. The goal is for the Rent Stabilization Program to better support the mobilehome community.
