Meeting Purpose:  To describe the updated environmental review scope, the City’s review process, and to obtain community input on the project located South side of Bailey Avenue, approximately 1,200 feet easterly of McKean Road. Comments, concerns, and questions raised at this meeting will become part of the public record and will help inform the project’s environmental documents as they move forward in the review process. 

Proposed project: Planned Development Permit (PD22-023) to allow the removal of three ordinance-size trees and the construction of the first two phases of the Heritage Oaks Memorial Park within Area 1 which includes a two-story funeral home, chapel, and office (26,458 square feet) and associated parking lot, up to eight mausoleums totaling 23,750 square feet (each ranging from 1,900 – 7,650 square feet), a crematory with witness room (4,300 square feet), associated circulation roads and surface improvements and a maintenance building (5,231 square feet) and maintenance yard (28,800 square feet) on a hillside property located on the south side of Bailey Avenue, approximately 1,200 feet easterly of McKean Road.
