This one-day primer on energy efficiency strategies intended for building professionals familiar with the basic concepts who are interested in an update on new and emerging technologies and controls. This class will address a wide range of opportunities that can be applied to most commercial facilities and will build from no- and low-cost opportunities to deep energy retrofits. This class will also include modules on utility incentives, financial return calculations, interactive measures, incremental cost opportunities, and operations and maintenance considerations as well as short modules on occupant behavior programs, renewables and demand response. While all strategies presented will be relevant to existing buildings, these same approaches could also be applied to new building designs.
