Retrofitting of existing buildings is a central component of the climate action plan of virtually every city in North America. This course will emphasize the selection of energy conservation measures and phasing these measures over time, while the building is occupied. Topics covered: Passive House EnerPHit, roof insulation, airtightness measures, EIFS and sheathing at exterior or rainscreen system, PH certified windows, heating and cooling, VRF’s, high performance ventilation, ERV’s, lighting and more. Learn multiple strategies to meet the Passive House EnerPHit criteria.
