COMMUNITY MEETING
You are invited to attend a community meeting to discuss and provide public comments on a proposed update to the City of San José Zoning Code: Amending Municipal Code Title 20 (Zoning Code) to Provide for Use of Tiny Homes on Wheels as Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs)

A prototype of a tiny unit will be available for viewing on S. 5th Street off W. San Fernando Street 4:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Meeting Purpose:
File No. PP20-003: A proposed ordinance amending Chapter 20.30 of Title 20 (Zoning Ordinance or Zoning Code) of the San José Municipal Code to:
 Make provisions for use of tiny homes on wheels as Accessory Dwelling Units;
 Include a new definition of Tiny Dwelling Unit; and
 Make other technical, non-substantive, or formatting changes within Chapter 20.30.

In addition to this community meeting, the City may schedule additional outreach as needed. We will schedule and notice future public hearings with the Planning Commission and City Council for the above items.
