Arcadia Ballpark is one of San José's newest multi-field sports facilities, underway since 2000. The complex features four natural-grass fields with lightening, a sport-themed playground and mini synthetic field.

The public is invited with no pre-registration to this free event to celebrate the opening of this impressive ballpark. The event will follow a old fashion ballpark opening, including a performance of the national anthem and a ceremonial first pitch. Mayor Sam Liccardo, Councilmember Sylvia Arenas, PRNS Director Jon Cicirelli, and many more community leaders will be present to speak. The grand opening will be followed by the first ball game played at Arcadia, starting at 10:45 a.m.
