Come to Alma Community Center to watch La Americana, an award winning documentary that tells the story of a young undocumented immigrant in New York City who struggles to save the life of her ailing daughter in Bolivia. This film is the third in the exciting film festival hosted at community centers across San José.
Each film screening coincides with a Senior Nutrition Program meal, a healthy lunch provided for free (or with a non-obligatory, suggested contribution of $3) for seniors 60+. Lunch will be served at noon, followed by the film.
