Community Facilities District No. 8 (CFD-8) Alteration Election

Security Features and Vineyard Project election (Communications Hill)

  • Introduction: Special all-mail ballot--Community Facilities District No. 8 Special Tax Election Alteration 1A (Security Features) and Alteration 1B (Feasibility, Planning, Design, and Environmental Clearance Work "Vineyard Project").

The qualified electors shall be the registered voters within Community Facilities District No. 8 (CFD-8), with each voter having one vote.  The City Clerk shall accept ballots of the qualified electors in her office until 8:00 p.m. on March 10, 2020.  The City Clerk shall commence the canvass of the returns of the special election and tabulate the ballots received by the date and time of the election beginning at 10:00 a.m. on the day after the close of the election, in open view to the public, and continue from day to day until all votes received have been counted.  The City Clerk shall report the returns to the City Council at the earliest opportunity upon conclusion of the canvass at the Council's regularly scheduled meeting.  For more information, please visit: https://www.sanjoseca.gov/your-government/appointees/city-clerk/elections/2020-elections/-fsiteid-1
