The Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services will be providing recommended activities to do within the comfort of your home through the Virtual Recreation Center.

Thoughtful Tuesday Activities

There are many ways to be thoughtful and show consideration for the needs of others. Here are some recommended activities:

Active Adults 50+ Morning Stretch Video Join City Instructor Suzanne B. for a session of Morning Stretch. This routine is designed for adults age 50 and over, but can be enjoyed with the whole family.
The Story of The Little Blue Hen: A Water Conservation Story YouTube Video Valley Water’s story of The Little Blue Hen was inspired by the traditional folk tale, “The Little Red Hen”, and tells the tale of the Little Blue Hen as she learns to conserve water every day. Presented in the style of a storybook with opportunities to join in, viewers will learn fun ways that they can conserve water in their homes every day, just like the Little Blue Hen!
Exercise for Health and Happiness YouTube Video

Follow along with exercise movements for health and happiness with Teacher Hằng Trường. Exercise directives will be in Vietnamese, with English subtitles.

Tuesdays from 4:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.  

Code Ninjas North San José is offering freeVirtual Game Building Sessions for children ages 7-14 years old. Registration required.
