To discuss updating Chapter 4.88 (Urban Agriculture Incentive Zone) to extend the sunset date to 2029; and to discuss Quarterly Updates to Chapters 20 (Zoning Code) and 23 (Sign Code) of the San José Municipal Code. The Title 20 changes are technical, formatting, or non-substantive changes that are conducted as part of the ongoing maintenance of the San Jose Municipal Code. The Title 23 changes could allow future freeway-facing signs in the North San Jose area (not related to off-site advertising). In addition to this community meeting, the City of San José may schedule other community meetings if needed. The City of San Jose will schedule and notice future public hearings with the Planning Commission and City Council hearing for the above items.
