Join us online as we honor 20 firefighter recruits who have successfully completed our 20-week training academy and will soon join the department. Beginning in March, this Academy class took on the physical and mental challenges of intense firefighter training in order to serve the San José community during this critical time. 

Though we are unable to host our traditional ceremony, we will honor the accomplishments of our dedicated recruit firefighters on Friday, August 7, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. Family, friends and colleagues are invited to show their congratulations and support by joining us via live stream via the SJFD YouTube Channel.
