Proposed Special Use Permit Amendment and Tentative Map at 600 South 1st Street, Community Meeting, Project Nos. SPA18-001-01 & T20-021

Meeting Purpose:  To describe the applicant’s proposed project, the City’s review process, and to obtain community input on the project located at 600 South First Street. Comments, concerns, and questions raised at this meeting will become part of the public record and will help inform the project’s design as it moves forward in the review process. There are continued opportunities throughout the permit process to publicly comment on the project as illustrated in the permit process chart below.

 

Proposed project, File Nos. SPA18-001-01 and T20-021 to allow a 252-foot-high mixed-use tower with ground floor commercial uses and 336 residential units on an approximately 0.4-gross acre lot. The project also includes a request for extended construction hours from 6AM to 1AM Monday through Friday and 8AM to 5PM on Saturdays. Tentative Map merge two lots into one lot and subdivide the lot, for condominium purposes, to allow no more than 336 residential condominiums and 5 commercial condominiums.
