February is Black History Month! This month we take time to reflect on and recognize the importance of Black experiences throughout American history, celebrate and honor Black leaders in our communities, and take steps towards change, racial equity and justice.
It is the vision and commitment of PRNS to create healthy communities that inspire a sense of belonging, in which everyone in our communities – no matter their race, ethnicity, age, gender identity, income, ability, or culture – have access to quality programs, services, and parks and recreation opportunities.
Check out the Black History Month Resources Blog, and tune in to our PRNS social media every Friday during Black History Month for community resources we will be sharing for you and your family to celebrate and learn together.
