Meeting Purpose: To describe the applicant’s proposed project, the City’s review process, and to obtain community input on the project located on the northwest corner of Terraine Street and West Julian Street. Comments, concerns, and questions raised at this meeting will become part of the public record and will help inform the project’s design as it moves forward in the review process. There are continued opportunities throughout the permit process to publicly comment on the project as illustrated in the permit process chart below.
Proposed project:
Site Development Permit (File No. H20-036) to allow the removal of eight ordinance-size trees and 25 non-ordnance trees from a vacant surface parking lot, the construction of a new 14-story office building (the "Arbor Building" – 208 feet in height) with ground floor commercial retail, and the modification of an existing six-story office building (the “Davidson Building” – existing 110 feet in height) to retail use on the ground floor, retain office use on the upper floors, add a rooftop terrace, and make changes to the exterior façade, with associated below-grade parking level connection and a seventh floor pedestrian bridge connection between the two buildings.
