San José Fire Department is hosting its 2021 Patriot Day 20th Year Commemoration event on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 9:45 a.m. Join us in-person or online as we honor the memories of those taken from us on September 11, 2001. All are welcome to join us for this public event. 

First responders will come together on Patriot Day, also known as National Day of Service and Remembrance, to form a procession from South Market Street and West San Fernando Street to Fire Station 1 (255 N. Market Street). After the procession, there will be a brief outdoor commemoration ceremony followed by a reception hosted at and by the San José Fire Museum located next door (201 N. Market Street).

Please note that all attendees are required to adhere to current Public Health orders. Ample parking is available throughout the downtown area. Free parking is available at the Fourth & St. John Garage located at 50 N Fourth Street.
