Meeting Purpose: To describe the applicant’s proposed project, the City’s review process, and to obtain community input on the project located on the south side of Stevens Creek Boulevard between Palace Drive and Kiely Boulevard. Comments, concerns, and questions raised at this meeting will become part of the public record and will help inform the project’s design as it moves forward in the review process. There are continued opportunities throughout the permit process to publicly comment on the project as illustrated in the permit process chart below.
Proposed project:
Planned Development Zoning (PDC20-012) to allow a rezone from the CG Commercial General Zone to the CP(PD) Planned Development Zone.
Planned Development Permit (PD20-021) to allow for the demolition of three existing commercial buildings (77,000 sf), the removal of 104 ordinance-size trees, and the construction of three multifamily residential buildings with 580 units, including 173 units of affordable housing, and a 250-room hotel with 8,500 square feet of ground floor retail with associated parking, landscaping, and amenities.
Vesting Tentative Map (PT21-001) to allow the subdivision of the existing 3 lots into 7 lots and 580 condo units on 10.0 gross acres.
