Learn about the City’s San José Airport Connector Project, meet the staff members, connect with other interested parties, and hear about the opportunity for being a part of one of the most exciting new projects in the City of San José.
On Wednesday, October 27 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. PST, the City of José will hold a virtual information event for parties interested in bidding on the José Airport Connector Request for Proposal and Qualification (RFPQ). Through this RFPQ, the City of José seeks a qualified venture partner to develop a transit connection between the Mineta International Airport and Diridon Station in Downtown San José, with the possibility of other stops and extensions. The successful bidder of this RFPQ will enter into a predevelopment agreement (PDA) with the City to develop the project and deliver it under a design, build, finance, operate, and maintain model. The objective of the partnership is to find a new approach to transit development that is faster and more affordable to construct, operate, and maintain, and that offers customers a compelling experience.
The agenda for the meeting is as follows:
- Welcome and introductions
- The project
- Project description and project objectives
- Procurement objectives and envisioned P3 delivery model
- Envisioned procurement process and project schedule
- Envisioned evaluation criteria including performance and expandability requirements

The City is interested in seeking feedback for this upcoming P3 opportunity through this optional informational meeting. This is not a mandatory meeting. Please register for the event via Zoom.
