Meeting Purpose: Fair Housing is a new and required focus of every city's Housing Element in California. It refers to policies and actions that combat discrimination, overcome patterns of segregation, expand choices, and address racial and economic disparities in housing. It involves both increasing investment in underserved communities and fostering inclusive neighborhoods throughout the city. Join us to learn about this work and share your thoughts and any experiences with fair housing issues. Your input will inform the Housing Element Update and related Assessment of Fair Housing Plan. This meeting provides a presentation followed by time to talk with City staff and each other. Spanish and Vietnamese language interpretation will be available upon request.
