The Department of Transportation (DOT) and the City of Santa Clara want to make Winchester Boulevard a safer place to walk, roll, bike, and drive. In June 2022, we will repair the pavement, repaint the crosswalks, and add a bike lane, between Stevens Creek Boulevard and Hedding Street. Please note, we also need to remove 14 parking spaces on the east side of Winchester Boulevard, between Forest Avenue and Hedding Street, to complete the project.

We encourage San José and Santa Clara residents to join us for the Winchester Boulevard community meeting. During this meeting, we will present our design plans. Residents can ask City staff questions about the project and provide feedback.
