The Department of Transportation (DOT) is pursuing grant funding to design and build street improvements along Jackson Avenue from Berryessa Road to Story Road. These improvements will benefit transit users, bike riders, walkers, and rollers. This project should also improve safety, travel options, and access for all residents of East San José. Ultimately, these improvements will make Jackson Avenue a safer, more inviting and sustainable street.

Join DOT staff to learn more and provide feedback on these proposed changes. Community feedback will make for a better project and help the City secure funding. If you care about transportation in East San José, this meeting is an opportunity to help influence the future of Jackson Avenue.
